Principals
Who grants each mandate: a person or a company, its jurisdiction, its signing wallets, its LEI validated with GLEIF and the status of its identity verification.
Steps
1. Register the principal (wallet, type, name)2. Validate the LEI in GLEIF (companies)3. Record the identity verification
Register a principal
The person behind the signature. A mandate is signed by a wallet; the principal record says who controls it: a company (with its legal name and LEI, checked live against the global GLEIF database) or an individual (only a label; the personal data stays in your KYC provider). The verification level follows the PRD: basic for identity, professional for companies with their beneficial owner, institutional when a representative with powers signs. Verifications expire after twelve months and raise an alert so mandates are not renewed on stale checks.
